LAYPERSON CREDENTIAL PROGRAMS

Heartsaver CPR- A modular program designed to teach CPR and relief of FBAO to all lay rescuers, barrier devices, provides instruction on the causes and prevention of injuries, and cardio-pulmonary arrest in children and how to administer CPR and first aid for choking in infants and children.

Specially designed for lay rescuers whose job require completion of a written evaluation and successful skills performance and are required to obtain a course completion card—documenting completion of a CPR course.

Security Guards, Childcare Professionals, Preschool Workers, etc.

Adult = 3 Hours Infant/Child = 3 Hours Both = 6 Hours

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

BLS for Healthcare Provider- This course is designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Course content includes adult and pediatric CPR, foreign body airway obstruction and two-rescuer CPR and barrier devices. The AED is now a core component.

Licensed/Certified: Physicians, Nurses, EMT’s and other professionals whose job require completion of a written evaluation and successful skills performance.

HS-FACTS- A collaboration between the AHA and the National Safety Council that combines Adult CPR and the use of an AED with basic first aid procedures.

Lay responders including firefighters, police, commercial airline crews, security personnel, employees in the workplace, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death.
